The Monica Roberts Freedom School: Owning Our POWER BLACK Trans Leadership Cohort was founded in honor of the late, great Monica Roberts. Monica Robert’s drive to create changemakers in the Black Trans Community is mirrored in the core work of the Freedom School. This 8 month national program is entirely designed and facilitated by Black and brown trans leaders to cultivate the next generation of Black and brown trans leaders.
