This special night honors the resilience, brilliance, and leadership of Black trans communities while raising critical funds to support our permanent and transitional housing initiatives.
Transgender Advocates Knowledgeable Empowering (T.A.K.E.) uplifts and empowers trans people of color in Alabama and beyond through direct support, advocacy, and movement-building. We focus on workforce development, re-entry services, housing justice, civic engagement, health care access and leadership development to ensure Black trans women not only survive but thrive.
